A few years ago I purchased the Mystery Ranch Rip Ruck 24 backpack and it became my best friend. It was not just a trail bag, but it became my everyday bag. The one issue I had with it as an everyday carry (EDC) was that it was always full.

After a couple years I purchased the Mystery Ranch Rip Ruck 32 backpack. The added 8L capacity has been a game changer for me. It is a little heavier, due to the waist yoke and obvious extra materials compared to the 24L. The 32L is my primary and a great choice when I need the extra storage capacity, and the 24L is my go to for shorter trips.
